Niki (Nicole) has a passion for cosmetic nursing and the incredible world of medical aesthetics. Before immersing herself into cosmetics, Niki’s background lies in pediatric emergency medicine where she continues to work at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Niki has always been a creative person and along with her medical knowledge and bubbly personality she provides a comfortable and welcoming environment to gently enhance natural beauty. Katie graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Mount Royal University in 2015. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at the University of Lethbridge.
Immediately after graduating Nursing, Katie began working as a clinic nurse at a health studio here in Calgary where she was exposed to the world of aesthetics and healthy aging. She believes every client deserves to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin and strives to achieve that with her eye for detail and gentle touch.
Her approach is both natural, and conservative with a goal of enhancing your natural beauty to bring your best face forward!
Tanya averill, RN, Dc
Before reaching her goal of becoming a cosmetic nurse, Tanya worked as a Chiropractor for 21 years and then as a second career, she graduated summa cum laude from NAU (Northern Arizona University) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2019. She worked as an Occupational Health Nurse and Home Health before entering the aesthetic domain. Tanya believes in enhancing one’s natural beauty and using a gentle approach to achieve natural looking results. She is known for her ability to make people feel comfortable and take time to listen to each individual client to obtain the best results possible. One of Tanya’s favorite sayings is that “sometimes a little self-love comes in units”.

Dr. Kim has his own thriving practice in Seton Calgary. He was previously working at Copperfield Medical as the clinic's main injector. His passion for injecting Botox and dermal fillers began years ago when he decided to try something different. Helping clients with migraines, hyperhidrosis and aesthetics has now become his hobby outside of working in his practice.
Dr Kim has a kind demeanor and amazing bedside manner. He is rated by as the #3 medical doctor in Calgary on ratemds.com. Face Equation is fortunate to have him as our Medical Director. Prior to obtaining his medical degree, Dr Kim was a licenced pharmacist, and has a comprehensive understanding of the properties of Botox and Fillers.
